Why the marine world chooses Actisense… 1 word: Reliability.
As manufacturer of tens of thousands of products annually, Actisense has grown in popularity as the preferred NMEA electronics brand of boat installers. Our products have always been specifically designed to be rugged and hard-wearing, particularly for the often harsh and unforgiving environments at sea.
We are always mindful and grateful for the loyal support of installers and customers around the globe, but we wanted to delve deeper to understand the reasons why our customers always returned to using our products ahead of others on the market.
Our team has collated and analysed annual data on product sales and returns. With sales of over 50,000 units, we found that less than 1% of our products sold throughout 2019 were returned as faulty. It is worth noting that 2019 also delivered the company’s strongest performance financially in our 23-year history. So, we made and dispatched more products but at the same time only received a tiny fraction of products returned to us… Our lowest ever product return rate.
In real numbers, 0.0002% of our trusted A2K Range of NMEA 2000 Micro Cables and Connectors were returned in 2019, whilst the return rate for the wider product line stood at an industry-beating 0.22%.
