2015 was a very successful year for us and we have some big developments planned for 2016.
2015 saw the company achieve a sizeable sales growth of 14%, along with this massive achievement we won several awards for our products and the business as a whole. Including national and international accolades such as the NMEA Product of Excellence Award for our EMU-1 (Engine Monitoring Unit) and our very own CEO Phil Whitehurst winning a silver award for National Export Entrepreneur of the year.
Following on from this success it only seemed appropriate to recognise the efforts of several members of staff and promote them to more senior roles as they have been key in helping the company achieve its goals for 2015.
Danny Thrasher has been announced as the Head of the newly formed Operations team, whilst Mat McCartan has been promoted to Marketing Manager. And Maria Wright has been promoted from Office Administrator to Customer Services Officer, and a special mention for Kris Raczka for recognition of his continued loyalty and dedication to maintaining a high standard of work and commitment has been promoted to Production Supervisor.
With these internal promotions the stage is set to ensure continued growth and development as we head into 2016.

We will also be opening up new commercial sectors and further developing our already pioneering brand.”
So what does Actisense have planned for 2016?
There will be further development of the brand, with a new website in the pipeline which will be under continuous development adding new features and usability over the course of the year.
Actisense will also be looking to obtain ISO 9001 certification, by improving business efficiency and customer satisfaction as well as honing the company management system and by ensuring the quality of our products, processes and services.
We have also set ourselves a goal of achieving 15% growth for the year and will be launching several new products to aid with this goal as well as expanding our global distributor network and creating new partnerships.
This is a very exciting time for us at Actisense and we are looking forward to a successful productive year.
