Actisense take the spotlight at 2015 NMEA Conference

Leading marine electronics experts and NMEA specialists, Actisense, will have a prominent presence at the NMEA Conference taking place from the 29th of September in Baltimore.

Actisense, the leading marine electronics brand from Active Research and leaders in NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) technology are set to take the spotlight at the upcoming NMEA 2015 Conference & Expo. Running from the 29th September to the 1st October, Actisense will have an active involvement in many of the events which will form part of the three day conference.

Actisense will be exhibiting at the conference alongside their US Distributor and premier marine electronics distributors, Gemeco Marine Accessories, at Stand 209. Along with exhibiting at the conference, CEO of Actisense, Phil Whitehurst, will be sitting on an expert CEO panel of leading international NMEA Companies. Phil is one of 4 specially chosen industry authorities who will be providing current industry advice and insight into the marine electronics industry.

The panel is set to open the NMEA Conference & Expo at 12.15pm on Tuesday the 29th.

Following this, Phil and his specialist team of Marine Electronics Engineers will be conducting an Actisense Manufacturers presentation on Wednesday 30th September, opening the days dedicated presentations. The presentation will give Actisense customers a valuable insight on how to make the most of their innovative products and promote further industry knowledge development.

On the final day of the conference, there will be tours of ‘The ImPossible Dream’; a purpose built, universally accessible, 60’ sailing catamaran. Run as a registered non-profit organisation, the vessel offers a range of opportunities to get people of all abilities out on the water. Recently renovated, the unique catamaran will be open to all in attendance for tours running from 3pm. Those who visit The ImPossible Dream will be able to see the intricate NMEA 2000® backbone and components consisting entirely from Actisense products which were donated by the leading marine electronics brand.

Phil Whitehurst has said about Actisense’s involvement:
“We are thoroughly looking forward to this year’s NMEA Conference & Expo. This year we have taken a particularly active involvement in the conference and we are delighted to be involved at such a high level.”

The 2015 NMEA Conference & Expo runs from the 29th September to the 1st October at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, Baltimore, US. Actisense will be among the top names of industry leaders exhibiting at the conference. For further details on the NMEA Conference visit:
